This piece was written for Anthony Pope and Dominic Perissinotto who toured Italy performing in different cathedrals playing a variety of organs. Chilago was written about a small town in Australia, northwest of Cairns which was home to copper mines and smelters. Today they are in ruins. The interest and grandeur is beneath the surface, magnificent limestone caves and pristine marble.
